Prune Pre-Gym Smoothie

Prunes (dried plums) have been valued since ancient Mesopotamia for their natural sweetness and digestive benefits. Your smoothie merges this ancient superfood with a modern blend of fruit, yogurt, nut butter and spices—essentially a liquid form of no‑bake energy ball

Ingredients

  • 4–5 pitted prunes
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt (or plant-based yoghurt)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Directions

  1. Soak prunes in warm water for 5–10 mins if very dry.
  2. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Add ice if preferred and blend again.
